The HRVHS Music Department has a long-standing reputation for choral and instrumental excellence. It is a place where student creativity and initiative are recognized and where there are extensive opportunities for student growth. The goals of the music program include: increasing student appreciation for all forms and styles of music, goal setting and follow-through, learning to participate in an ensemble setting, learning to perform for an audience, and preparing for a life of music-making and cultural appreciation.
