    HOSA, founded in 1976, is a Careerand Technical Education organization providing applied and advanced academic instruction in areas of health sciences, math and technology. Oregon's Governor John A. Kitzhaber endorsed HOSA - Future Health Professionals of the State of Oregon and recognized February as Oregon Career and Technical Education Month proclaimed January 27, 2014.

     

    Hood River Valley High School has had a HOSA Club for 13 years advised by

    Mrs. Barb Hosford. Ann Zuehlke coadvisor for the year of 2013-14.

     

    HOSA is open to all students with an interest in health careers. We encourage all levels of interested students to join us!

    All students did an outstanding job at the conference, and when they were not engaged in competitions they volunteered as patients, helped greet members and guests, and projected themselves as positive HRVHS student leaders. We are so proud of them; we wanted to share with you what amazing students we have.
