Use of TalkingPoints to Enhance Communication

One of our highest priorities is to enhance communication with our school district’s families. Your students’ teachers will be using TalkingPoints, if they have not already, to communicate with you using text messages or the TalkingPoints mobile app. All you need is a mobile phone to receive classroom announcements and messages from your students’ teachers. 

Here’s how it works. 

1. Teachers will send you a text message.
2. You will receive the message through SMS text or the TalkingPoints Parent App. 
3. You may reply back to the message through SMS text or the TalkingPoints Parent App. 

TalkingPoints will use your preferred language and provide any necessary translation between people with a different language preference.

TalkingPoints is free for you to use. There’s no charge if you have an unlimited texting plan. If not, standard text messaging fees apply.

You can download the TalkingPoints for Parents Mobile App in the App Store on iPhone or Google Play on Android. You can unsubscribe to TalkingPoints at any time by texting GOODBYE.
