    Choose your own adventures

Students will have fun taking walks or bike rides to their favorite places around Hood River with a musical soundtrack of their own choosing. They will help plan the route, ride or walk to the destination and receive a treat or gift card from local businesses they visit. Along the way, we will learn the laws and etiquette for walking and biking and how to navigate or avoid tricky intersections. They will also learn to have a sense of direction and the safest routes for getting around town. We will map out their home, the school, friend’s houses and major landmarks.

    Biker's Ed

The club will culminate in a biking exam of their knowledge of traffic law and etiquette.
