Outdoor school is an integral part of your child’s 6th grade experience. We strive to have every learner attend, however, it is also the expectation that each attendee is safe, respectful, and responsible during this learning opportunity. If your 6th grade student has struggled with meeting our Wy’east Code of Conduct this year, we will be in touch with you to set up a clear behavior expectations to uphold between now and then to let us know they are ready to participate responsibly in Outdoor School 2017.
While at Outdoor School, students are not allowed to have cell phones or other electronic devices. If you need to contact your student while they are at Outdoor School, please call the school. We will be in communication with them on a regular basis. If it is an emergency and school is closed, you may call the Hancock Field Station 541.489.3233.
