Director of Special Education - Anne Carloss
Anne Carloss is a Chicago native. She moved to Hood River in 2005. After living 9 years in Portland where she worked as a principal for alternative education programs. Anne has taught in a variety of special education settings in Suburban Chicago. She received her BS in Special Education from Loyola University of Chicago, her M.Ed in Educational Administration from Aurora University in Illinois, and completed her ED.S in Educational Leadership at Lewis and Clark College, Oregon. Anne's time here in the Columbia River Gorge is spent with her daughter Quinn and son Che. They enjoy numerous types of recreation, their animals ( 2 dogs, 2 cats), gardening, and baking. Anne's main thesis in life is to be honest, straightforward and compassionate. She is committed to being the best she can be in her role as the Director of Special Education.
