This is my 23rd year teaching for the Hood River County School District. I began my teaching career at Hood River Middle School. I taught 7th grade language arts, reading, and social studies, and 6th grade self contained. I taught 5th grade here at Westside for 10 years and am now into my fifth year of teaching 3rd grade. I love teaching at the elementary level and am thrilled to work with lower elementary students this year. I have 3 children, Lily 18, Isabella 16, and Ben 12. My husband, Blair, works in Glenwood, WA.
I've traveled to many different countries and lived abroad several times. I lived and worked on Maui, and taught English in Japan.
I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, reading, biking, hiking, skiing and taking advantage of all the opportunities the beautiful Columbia Gorge has to offer.
