• 5. IDENTIFY, INTERVENE AND MONITOR THE PROGRESS OF
    STRUGGLING STUDENTS EARLY, WITH GREAT INTENSITY,
    AND FOR AS LONG AS IT TAKES
     
    STRATEGIES 
     

    A. Every licensed staff member will collaboratively develop and use formative and interim assessments in Professional Learning Communities (PLC) to identify and monitor individual student progress.
     
    B. Each school will implement a data-driven Response to Intervention (RTI) system.
     
    C. All students will be regularly and efficiently screened to ensure they are on target for grade-level expectations in literacy and math.
     
    D. Students below benchmark will receive additional, research-based interventions.
     
    E. Below benchmark student progress will be monitored regularly.
     
    F. Interventions will be intensified based district-wide decision-rules.
     
    e. RTI/PBIS teams will meet to review student progress and make decisions using student growth data.
