    Frequently Asked Questions
    1. Which test should I take?
Most four year colleges and universities require a college admission test.  Students will need to look at the admission requirements for the college/university to determine which test to take.
    2. What if I can't afford to take the test?
If you are unable to pay for the test, please see your Guidance Counselor to determine if you qualify for a fee waiver.
    3. When should I take the test?
You should take either exam once during the spring of your junior year and again in the fall of your senior year.  If you are happy with your scores then you do not have to take any additional tests.  Double check to make sure you will receive your scores before your college application is due.
    4. How should I prepare?
You can prepare for the SAT by looking carefully at your PSAT scores from your sophomore and junior year.   The Collegeboard provides individualized feedback on scores, study tips, and practice tests for all students who take the PSAT.
