This is my 20th year teaching, 9th year teaching in Hood River County, and my 4th year teaching through Hood River Options Academy.  I am really excited to teach at Hood River Options Academy this year.  Living through a pandemic and all its uncertainties, I believe this is a beneficial option for many.  I value communication and connections, so even though this is a virtual environment, I encourage all students, parents and teachers to work together and reach out to each other on a regular basis.  I will be available through email, Talking points texts, and google meets.  I will do my best to be available evenings and weekends as well.

I grew up in Hood River, I graduated from HRVHS, and I married my high school sweetheart.  I went to May Street Elementary and Hood River Middle School.  I think very highly of this school district and our community.  I have 4 children; 16, 13, 10, and 6.  I love to run, garden, ski, swim, bike, and play with my kids.  I look forward to a successful year.
