Materials Distribution Process
Distribution Procedures for Community Partners
Hood River County School District collaborates with community groups and organizations that sponsor activities of an educational/enrichment nature for students by distributing materials electronically to district families. Please note, we do not distribute printed materials. To submit materials for approval, follow the directions below.
Guidelines for accepted content
- School-sponsored groups: Managed or supervised by staff members. May submit information about activities organized by or for our students, staff, and families.
- School-affiliated groups: Nonprofit organizations supported by and/or feeding into our schools. May submit information about activities organized by or for our students, staff, and families.
- Other organizations: Encouraged to promote goods and services through local media and community groups.
Submissions
- Due by Thursday at noon to be posted on the website on Thursday afternoon.
- May be included in the district newsletter
- Specific format required to ensure brand, accessibility, and language translation compliance
- Must follow Hood River County School District board policies

- Ensure the materials promote an activity/opportunity that supports the basic educational mission of the district, directly benefits students, or is of intrinsic value to students and/or families.
- Complete this Google Form by submitting all required information.
Review these approval steps
- Google Form responses will automatically be submitted to the Hood River County School District administrative office.
- Administrative staff will review the materials and approve or deny materials based on the district flyer policies described above.
- Approved materials will be posted to the HRCSD website on Thursday afternoons. If you would like your material published the week that it is submitted for approval, the Google Form submission must be made by Thursday at 12pm. As a part of the materials upload to the website, you are required to request a date you want the material to expire.
