Facilities and Grounds

The facilities department provides full lifecycle management and operational support of the Hood River County School District’s real property and infrastructure at each of the school district’s sites. Responsibilities include:

  • Develop capital investment programs
  • Manage planning, designing, and constructing of capital projects
  • Environmental management
  • Resource conservation, recycling and waste Management
  • Energy and utilities management
  • Facilities maintenance
  • Minor construction
  • Custodial services
  • Groundskeeping
  • Integrated pest management
  • Property management
  • Space management
  • Courier and mail services

Under the direction of the director of operations, the facilities department administers and integrates these programs through two divisions: 1) Facilities and Grounds; 2) Maintenance Services.
