ParentVUE Activation

Welcome to the Hood River County School District ParentVUE portal guide. Parents/guardians need to follow the instructions below to activate their account on either a web browser or through the mobile app. 

Before you begin, make sure you have your Activation Letter (sent via the ParentSquare app, text, and email). You will need your First Name, Last Name, and 7-character Activation Key exactly as printed on that document.

Important notes

  • One account per parent: Each parent/guardian should create their own individual account. Please do not share login details. 
  • Families with multiple students: If you have more than one child enrolled in HRCSD, you only need one account to view all of your students. 
  • You can use one of the following two setup methods.

Setup Options

Setup Method 1: Web Browser (Computer or Phone)

  1. Navigate to the district's ParentVUE web portal link: https://or-hrcsd-psv.edupoint.com/
  2. Select, I am a parent.
  3. If the "Activate Account" button isn't visible, select More Options.
  4. Select Activate Account under the "I have an activation key from my district" section.
  5. Read the Privacy Statement and select I Accept.
  6. Enter First Name, Last Name, and the 7-character activation key exactly as they appear in the district-provided letter.
  7. Select Continue.
  8. Type in a User Name (Use Your Email Address), type in a Password, and type in the Email Address used for your User Name.
  9. Click Complete Account Activation.

Setup Method 2: ParentVUE Mobile App

  1. Download the ParentVUE (New), with purple icon, app by Edupoint from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.  Apple App Store Link. Google Play Store Link.
  2. Open the ParentVUE app that you just downloaded.
  3. Swipe left to locate the school district (Allow While Using App, or type in the zip code 97031).
  4. Select Hood River County School District.
  5. The app will verify that you have selected Hood River County School District. Select Yes to accept as your School District.
  6. The app will ask if you have an activation key and would like to activate your account. To create an account." Select Yes.
  7. Enter First Name, Last Name, and the activation key exactly as they appear in the letter.
  8. Select Continue.
  9. Read the Privacy Statement and select I Accept.
  10. Enter First Name, Last Name, and the 7-character activation key exactly as they appear in the district-provided letter.
  11. Select Continue.
  12. Type in a User Name (Use Your Email Address), type in a Password, and type in the Email Address used for your User Name.
  13. Click Complete Account Activation.

Need Help or Support?

  • If you cannot find your activation key or need assistance, please contact your child's school office or call the district office at 541-386-2511. 
  • In-person assistance: 
    • Join us at Ready, Set, Learn! event on Thursday, Aug. 13 (5pm to 6:30pm at Hood River Valley High School)
    • Individual schools may also hold in-person setup sessions. Please pay attention for announcements from your school principal.
