After many years in the field of special education and behavior support, I am excited to be a part of Hood River County School District's alternative education programming. I believe the classroom is a wonderful and rich learning environment, but also recognize that for a variety of reasons, some students may need an alternative learning setting to reach their academic and personal goals. That is the core purpose of Hood River Options Academy. We strive to become an excellent option for HRCSD students, while complementing our exceptional schools. My passion is student learning and the work to support student learning is never done. I look forward to partnering with our students, families, and community to provide an innovative and excellent alternative learning pathway.
