I am excited about beginning my fifth year with Hood River County School District and to be serving our Hood River Options Academy students and families! I have taught in all grades Pre-K to 8 and have served as English Language Development Specialist and Professional Development Leader, Consultant, Family Literacy Coach, Reading Specialist, STEAM Leader and Kindergarten Readiness Coach. Teaching is my passion and I love working with my students and families. I am mom to four amazing adults and grandma to my three sweet grandsons-they are the loves of my life! While not teaching, I enjoy spending time with friends and family playing games, sports, kayaking, swimming, biking, hiking, reading, creating art and camping-anything in nature is where I want to be! We are blessed to live in such a gorgeous area that offers so many outdoor opportunities. I look forward to working alongside the staff at HROA as we endeavor to best-meet the individual needs of our students.
