Ms. Rafelson

Regena Rafelson began her teaching career at Cascade Locks School in the mid-80’s, teaching fourth grade. During her ten years in Cascade Locks, she taught every subject – including Home Economics, non-competitive games, Physical Science, and US Government. Transferring to HRVHS in 1997; Mrs. Rafelson spent the next 23 years teaching language arts and Speech and Debate. She was HRV’s first Earth Club Advisor and coached the Speech and Debate team.

Mrs. Rafelson is grateful for the opportunity to care for her 90 year old father in his home on the beautiful Klickitat River where she lives with a whippet named Belle, a Manx named Patrick, and a tortoise-shell mouser named Numi.  She enjoys hiking, reading, macrame, gardening, and making up twenty-second hand-washing mini-ballads.
