Bio

I joined the Hood River Valley High School team as an Instructional Coach in the fall of 2021.  I am absolutely thrilled to be here, and feel incredibly fortunate to be joining such a wonderful community of students, families, and staff members.  Prior to this, I taught French in the Beaverton School District for 17 years at both the middle and high school levels.  I also created and taught the curriculum for a CTE program in Secondary Education.  My areas of strength include classroom routines, organization systems, classroom management, student engagement, and relationship building strategies with students and families. I am incredibly passionate about closing opportunity gaps for historically under-served students by aiming to improve both our classroom instructional techniques as well as by critically examining our systems and operating procedures to ensure that we are providing equitable opportunities for all students.
