My name is Nancy Long and I was born and raised in Alaska. 

I have a Bachelors degree in English, Literature and Masters degree in English Studies, with a focus on Rhetoric and Composition. I earned both of my degrees from the University of Alaska, Anchorage. 

I currently teach Freshman English Language Arts. 

When I am able, I enjoy running, reading, writing, swimming, snowboarding, and anything outside or physically and mentally challenging.
