Hello!  This is my 4th year of teaching and my first year at HRVHS. Teaching anatomy and physiology and medical terminology is my dream job, and I am so excited to be here!

I went to massage therapy school when I graduated high school and started a 6-year career as a licensed massage therapist. My primary focus was pain and injury treatment and rehabilitation, including clinical injury treatment, physical therapy, and sports massage.

I then moved to Australia for a year and backpacked around the country. While diving on the Great Barrier Reef, I learned how climate change impacts our planet. I decided to move back home and study environmental science. With my undergrad in environmental science, I worked as an environmental scientist for 5 years.

Then came my calling to become a teacher. After teaching AP Bio, chemistry, and physical science for three years, the opportunity to come here presented itself! I'm so happy that my healthcare experience from early in my life is now coming back to help me teach the Health Science CTE classes.
