Parkdale Elementary SchoolParkdale Elementary is located at the base of Mt. Hood in the beautiful Upper Hood River Valley - 17 miles south of Hood River. Originally a high school, Parkdale now serves students in kindergarten through fifth grade. Additions to the original building were made in 1975. 1995, and 2020. Parkdale offers an extensive instructional program with emphasis on comprehensive approaches to reading instruction, cooperative learning, developmentally-appropriate practices, music, the arts, physical education, and hands-on science programs. The school is supported by an active Parent Teacher Association.
