Parkdale Elementary School

I graduated from Western Oregon State University in 1990.  I majored in Psychology with minors in Business and Biology.  I got married in 1992 and decided to go back to school to complete a Handicap Learner license program at Portland State.  While working for the Hood River School District as a Special Education Teacher I also completed my Regular Education Endorsement, Masters in Curriculum and Instruction, and most recently my Reading Endorsement.  It doesn't seem possible but I have been teaching for over twenty years.  

 

I have three children who outside of my school day keep me very busy.  My eldest daughter is attending The Academy of Art University in San Francisco and playing softball for the University.  My son graduated from lineman school this summer and is currently pursuing a career in the utilities industry.   Last but not least my  youngest is a sophomore at Hood River Valley High School.  We love sports, camping, fishing, and traveling.  Hood River is an amazing place to raise a family.
