• Greetings Cascade Locks families and students,

My name is Ms. Acosta. I am so excited to join the wonderful community of Cascade Locks. My first teaching job was here at Cascade Locks School back from 2007-2010. I was able to enjoy the K-12 atmosphere as the special education teacher, reading specialist, and ELD teacher. I even coached a few sports! I then moved over to May Street Elementary where I was the special education teacher for ten years. I am honored to take on the role as the Cascade Locks principal.

    Getting to know me:

I grew up in Massachusets and attended college at Plymouth State University in New Hampshire. After graduation I packed up my bags and moved out west landing in Hood River. My favorite pastime is playing rugby for a team based out of Portland. I am blessed to be still playing at a competitive level after 18 years! I currently live in Odell with my partner Drew and our dog Chuck. We enjoy fishing on the Columbia, skiing at Mt Hood Meadows, and golfing.
