The Finance Advisory and Board Oversight Committee will meet on Thursday, March 21st from 4:00-5:30pm to review Financial Reporting and ongoing capital projects.
While we generally support our students’ collective voice and passion for issues that matter to them, there are specific state laws and school board policies that govern public employee behavior while on-the-job in regards to promoting, participating in, or organizing political activities.

A committee comprised of parents and school principals from each elementary and middle school will start meeting next week about possible revisions to school attendance boundaries.
The project includes select demolition of finishes and equipment at the Existing 1939 Gymnasium, and installation of seismic strengthening.
Reston, VA – 2019 – The Association of School Business Officials International (ASBO) is pleased to award Hood River County School District with the Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting (COE). ASBO International’s COE recognizes districts that have met the program’s high standards for financial reporting and accountability. The school district earned the Certificate of Excellence for its Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) for the fiscal year ended 2018.
On Thursday, February 21, Hood River County will host a public meeting with the purpose to educate the public on the county’s financial strains, share information and take questions about the County’s proposed tax measures planned for the May ballot.
