Mid Valley Elementary School Mission Statement

Every student receives what they need to develop to their full academic and social potential while discovering and cultivating their own unique talents and interests.

Mid Valley Elementary is a school of history and vision. It is a school deeply rooted in tradition and it has been an important part of the Odell community for nearly 80 years. The school has changed through the years, but the goal of education our children for the future has always remained the same. Today we look toward a world that will be filled with unimaginable opportunities for the next generation and we try to give our students the skills they will need to take advantage of these opportunities. Meeting the needs of our students and their families is our highest priority.   Principal: Kim Yasui.  Vice Principal:  Jim Mangan

  • State testing in 3rd—5th grade will be starting in April.  You can help support your child by making sure they are getting plenty of sleep.  Students at this age need 10 or more hours of sleep.  Students should also have a good breakfast, either at home or at school (It is served between 7:15 and 7:35) It is also important that students arrive on time and that they do not miss school while testing.  If at all possible, make doctor and other appointments after 2:00.
