HRCSD opens returning student registration and launches ParentVUE for 2026-27

Hood River County School District (HRCSD) is preparing for the 2026-27 school year and reminding all returning families to complete their annual Returning Student Registration (student information verification).

This year, annual registration is being completed through ParentVUE, the school district’s newly updated student information portal. Account activation details were recently sent via email to all parents and guardians.

1. Returning Student Registration (Open Now in ParentVUE)

Every family must complete this process for each returning student enrolled for the upcoming school year. Through ParentVUE, families will:

  • Confirm contact and emergency details
  • Share student transportation needs
  • Complete the annual iPad agreement form
  • Provide household income information (used to determine eligibility for discounted school fees)
  • Update address details: Families with address changes should be prepared to upload proof of residency documents. (Tip: Document uploads are often quickest and easiest when using the ParentVUE mobile app).

  • Note: If you have a student who did not attend an HRCSD school during the 2025-26 school year, please complete the New Student Enrollment Form instead.

2. ParentSquare Continues as Primary Communication Hub

While ParentVUE handles registration, grades, and attendance, ParentSquare remains the district’s official tool for two-way communication, classroom messages, and school announcements.
