Hood River County School District (HRCSD) is upgrading its digital infrastructure for the upcoming 2026-27 school year by transitioning its student information system from PowerSchool to Edupoint.

HRCSD’s online registration and enrollment portal is temporarily disabled starting June 22 and will remain closed through July 26, 2026. This mid-summer system blackout is necessary to complete the critical upgrade, which will ultimately streamline communication and improve the user experience for school district families and staff.

Families should note the following information regarding the transition period:

For returning HRCSD families

All families with students who were enrolled in the district during the 2025-26 school year and are returning for the 2026-27 school year must have their information verified.

• No immediate action is required from returning families at this time.
• The school district will directly contact the families of students who need to complete this registration process once the new system is active.
• When the new portal goes live on July 27, 2026, detailed instructions for setting up a new Edupoint parent account will be posted on the district website and sent via email. Previous PowerSchool login credentials will no longer work.

For new students enrolling in the district

New student enrollment is strictly for children who did not attend a school within the Hood River County School District during the 2025-26 school year.

• Families looking to enroll a new student for the 2026-27 school year will complete an online form.
• This online form will become active on the district website on July 27, 2026. Families may visit the website on or after that date to complete the new student registration.
