  • Preschool Promise is offering brand-new classrooms for infants, toddlers and preschoolers for January 2021! Cascade Locks is now enrolling early learners for new rewarding programs on campus!  When you walk into a high quality preschool, immediately you’ll see learning happening. A high quality program has a sense of purpose, organization, and excitement. When children have access to high quality preschool, they are more likely to be prepared socially and academically for later learning and opportunities. Currently in Oregon there are gaps in who has access to preschool. Affordable high quality, culturally responsive preschool for families experiencing poverty and families of color are very limited.

This is where Preschool Promise comes in. Preschool Promise is a new publicly funded pilot preschool system that will offer free preschool to families whose incomes are below 200% of the Federal Poverty levels. Programs are up running January 2021 and through next year. Please contact Jessie/Director preschool promise @ 503-680-6791. Welcome, and we hope to hear from our families in our community for more information and enrollment.

    Warmest,

    Jessie Hartley

    Dear Families,

Kindergarten registration is right around the corner.  Due to the extended school closure this process will look different this spring. We’ve created a user friendly document to help gather information about your incoming kindergartener. Please complete the “Kindergarten New Student Information” survey (link below) with the most up to date contact information. Once social distancing guidelines have been relaxed, we will communicate to you dates and times to complete official registration documents. This could occur as early as June or as late as August. If you know of any other parents with incoming kindergarteners please forward this information their way. Thank you and we look forward to working with your child(ren) next year!  Kindergarten New Student Information Survey Link

    Queridas familias,
