HRCSD offers opportunity for elementary students to transfer programs
Hood River County School District (HRCSD) families who have a student(s) who is enrolled in an elementary school program within HRCSD have an opportunity to transfer between their neighborhood school and Hood River Options Academy (HROA) between now and Friday, Feb. 5, 2021, by completing the steps outlined below.
In addition to outlining the steps to complete to transfer programs, HRCSD recommends that families review the recent information provided in the HRCSD update regarding plans to return to in-person instruction as they consider educational options for their students.
Steps to Complete to Transfer Programs
This list includes two steps that need to be completed by Friday, Feb. 5, 2021, in order for a student to transfer between his/her neighborhood school and HROA. The student will make that transition on Tuesday, March 2, 2021, which is the first day of the third trimester, and will remain in this program for the remainder of the 2020-21 school year.
STEP 1: Complete this Google Form to request materials to transfer programs
STEP 2: Review, complete, and submit the agreement form required to transfer programs. This form will be distributed via email and postal mail.
- Read the information that provides an overview of Comprehensive Distance Learning (CDL) at HRCSD schools and HROA
- Sign and submit the agreement form to transfer educational programs for the third trimester by Friday, Feb. 5, 2021, to the HRCSD administrative office
