HRCSD staff and students will continue to wear face coverings and practice physical distancing
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) updated its guidance regarding wearing a mask and physical distancing . On Thursday (5/13), CDC announced that “fully vaccinated people no longer need to wear a mask or physically distance in any setting, except where required by federal, state, local, tribal, or territorial laws, rules, and regulations, including local business and workplace guidance.”
Hood River County School District (HRCSD) must continue to follow the Oregon Department of Education (ODE) guidance (Ready Schools, Safe Learners). ODE announced late last night that it will not make any changes to the Ready Schools, Safe Learners guidance prior to the end of the school year. HRCSD students and staff will continue to be required to wear a mask while attending school or participating in school activities.
