State achievement tests were administered at Hood River County School District schools during spring 2023 for students enrolled in grades 3-8 and 11. On Thursday, Oct. 19, families will be emailed a snapshot of their student’s performance on their state assessment(s) if a valid score exists.
Reasons why your student may not have a valid score are:
-
You submitted an opt-out form or requested an exemption from state testing from your student’s school principal
-
HRCSD was your student’s first enrollment in a US school from another country
-
Your student enrolled in the district after May 2, 2023
-
School staff were not able to complete a test session with your student due to absences
If you have questions about these results or want more information after receiving your student’s performance snapshot, please contact your child’s school. For more information about Oregon’s state achievement assessment, visit: https://or.startingsmarter.org/
