Hood River County School District Awarded for Excellence in Financial Reporting GFOA

 

10/02/2020 (Chicago, Illinois) -- Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) has awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting to Hood River County School District for its comprehensive annual financial report (CAFR) for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2019. The CAFR has been judged by an impartial panel to meet the high standards of the program, which includes demonstrating a constructive "spirit of full disclosure" to clearly communicate its financial story and motivate potential users and user groups to read the CAFR.

 

An Award of Financial Reporting Achievement has been awarded to Saundra Buchanan, Chief Financial Officer,  as the individual designated by the government as primarily responsible for preparing the award-winning CAFR.
